2013-05-12 Celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the State of Israel - in Poznan

On May 12th, 2013 (Sunday) at 2 pm there will be celebrations of the 65th Anniversary of the State of Israel in the Botanical Garden in Poznan.
At the invitation of the Poznań Branch of the Union of Jewish Communities in Poland, Orchestra Vivat! together with the Choreographic Group and younger dancing formation, will present a musical and danceable program during the ceremony. At about 2 pm Orchestra Vivat! and young dancing formation Papużki will lead the Participants of the ceremony along the alleys of Poznan Botanical Garden. After the ceremonial beginning and the official statements of Honorable Guests Orchestra Vivat! will present its entertainment repertoire. At about 4 pm Orchestra Vivat! will perform during the gala events of the Jewish street holiday.
On this day, the invited guests, residents of Poznan, Wielkopolska and all the people who like Jewish cuisine, people curious about the history and culture of Israel will sit together at the table full of goodies.
The street performance of Orchestra Vivat! and other bands, as well as a number of surprises, including pictures of pre-war Poznan, guided tours will surely be a great attraction of the event, which will provide many interesting experiences.
Organizers: the city authorities of Poznan, Poznan Branch of the Union of Jewish Religious Communities, Botanical Garden, Adam Mickiewicz University and Old Town District Council, the Association of Polish-Israel Ra'anana - Poznan and restaurateurs of Żydowska Street are preparing many attractions with the participation of guests from around the world.
